Inspired by the Starcraft 2 cinematic marine suit, I started this project in 2011 as both a design and modeling exercise for hard surfaces. It proved to be quite a challenge, but by the end of it I felt very comfortable with hard surface modeling. However, this ended up being the last 3d personal project I made. I started to branch out into painting, storyboarding, video editing, and writing after this. But maybe I'll still do some modeling again in the future!
